Alexander Mountain Trail (270) offers a scenic overlook of Lake Koocanusa after 0.5 mile on the trail and is suitable for a short hike to the overlook or for a more rugged day hike. No restrooms or stock facilities are available. Developed camping and fishing are available at McGillvray Campground, 3 miles north of the trailhead. Length: 3.5 miles. Moderate use, moderate difficulty.
